My name is Shane Powers; born and raised in Pennsylvania, USA. I am an astrologer exploring multifaceted approaches to phenomena, human experience and the numinous within nature, objects, and domestic practices. Lo-fi, queer and nimble, I am sensitive to beauty in form, truth, smoke & mirrors.
I had a dream in the summer of 2013. In the dream I was standing in the middle of a vast circular disc made of pearlescent light. Fine as a laser beam, the light traced an intricate pattern of geometric lace under my feet that continued to shape shift as my mind interacted with it. Below and above this glowing circle of lace was the universe and above my head was Earth’s Moon. My body was drawn head first into and through the Moon while remembering infinite births backwards in time until I ended up at the first cell all life on Earth had emerged from. Upon returning to the pulsating circle of lace the Moon spoke without words. The Moon’s message was to listen deeply to the language of the cosmos. The message was felt in a way I can not explain but could not ignore.
As is true of all timeless crafts, astrology is an eternal study and devotion. I look forward to sharing what I have and continue to learn with you.

Astrology is an ancient oracular art and craft informing every aspect of life that can be named. Wedding the earthly and ethereal, astrology's timeless insight taps into the subtle drift and undertow of human experience. While embracing paradox and honoring patina, astrology affirms our human complexity. Enon Valley Astrology is a space exploring astral and terrestrial relationships through astrological contemplation and consultations. A place where the boundless multiplicity of nature exalts and reflects the odd and particular manner we perpetually reimagine ourselves. I have studied within the lineages of Hellenistic, Medieval and Renaissance astrology. Resourcing my evolving understanding of classical techniques while attuned to contemporary perspectives, my practice is a hybrid approach. I synthesize and interpret astrological symbolism within a grounded traditional framework, lyrical adornment and sincere discussion. Everyone approaches astrology with unique circumstances and I respect each client as such. As an astrologer I am not here to form an appraisal of your personality or make decisions on your behalf. Gently, I reflect what I see astrologically while interpreting through the context of your sole astrology. My hope is to trip the intellect and develop lucid, heart-centered connections.
